Wednesday, May 3rd, found the WCA Knights at the majestic Ortonville Golf Course on a mostly sunny day. With the exception of a minor hail storm and some spurts of rain, the girls enjoyed warm temps, sun and very little wind. The course was in great shape and the girls used it to their advantage. Due to make up testing and scheduling conflicts, we had to play with an incomplete team. Jessica St. Martin was our low scorer with a 101. Her long game and the par fours were the highlight of her day, having several picture perfect fairway shots. Lexi Poyzer finished her day with a career best, a 104.parring two holes accompanied by several bogies and consistent splits of 53 and 51. Libby Poyzer shot a very respectable 119 and felt good about her game. Shots were largely trouble free and she did a great job of getting to the green. Putting was more of a challenge than it typically is for her, but she kept at it and looks forward to working on that part of her game at the next practice.
