The Morris Area-Chokio-Alberta Tigers defeated the West Central Area Knights 71-50 on Monday night in Morris. Morris hit 27-54 shots for 50% and had five different players make 3's going 8-18 and they hit 9-12 free throws.
"Morris played really well tonight," said Knight Coach Kraig Hunter. "They made it tough for us to defend having multiple guys that are triple threat players that can all shoot, drive, and pass. When we helped on defense, they were able to find the open guy and they made us pay. We also had no answer to stop sophomore Camden Arndt who had 26 points while only missing two shots going 9-11 from the field and 3-3 on threes. We didn't help matters as we did not have one of our best defensive performances tonight. Defense is the backbone of our team and we have to get back to playing tough "D"."
